By booking any service with Trip with Jack (including tours, bike rentals, car rentals, stays, transfers, or any other travel service), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
All bookings are considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment. Full payment must be completed before the start of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices shown are subject to change until booking is confirmed. Trip with Jack will provide a booking confirmation containing the trip details and payment receipt.
Cancellations by the customer will be governed by our cancellation policy. Unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation, cancellations made more than 30 days before departure will receive a partial refund of the advance; cancellations within shorter windows may receive reduced refund or no refund. No refund is provided for no-shows or unused services. Any specific refund percentages or timelines will be specified on the booking confirmation.
Trip with Jack reserves the right to modify or cancel an itinerary or any part of the service due to weather, road conditions, operational reasons, strikes, government actions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events. When changes are necessary, we will try to offer reasonable alternatives. We are not responsible for additional costs you may incur as a result of such changes (e.g., flights, personal expenses), but we will assist where possible.
For vehicle rentals (bikes, cars, etc.), a valid driving license, identity proof, and a security deposit may be required at handover. Renters are responsible for traffic violations, fines, fuel costs, tolls, and any damage resulting from misuse or negligence. Helmets must be worn for bike rentals. Trip with Jack inspects and services vehicles regularly but cannot guarantee against mechanical failure; roadside assistance is provided as per the package terms.
For accommodation bookings, check-in and check-out times, meal plans, and facility availability are governed by the individual property. Any damage to property during your stay will be charged to the guest. Trip with Jack is not liable for losses arising from third-party hotel actions or policies.
Travelers are responsible for carrying valid identification, permits, driving licenses, passports and visas (for international travelers), and any required medical certificates. If you fail to carry required documents, Trip with Jack is not responsible for any resulting disruption, extra costs, or denied entry.
Health and safety: Some activities and travel at high altitude carry inherent risks, including illness or injury (for example, altitude sickness). Travelers must disclose relevant medical conditions at the time of booking. Trip with Jack is not a medical provider and cannot guarantee medical response times in remote locations. We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering accident, medical evacuation, and trip cancellation.
Liability and death/injury clause: Travel involves certain unavoidable risks. Trip with Jack will assist in emergencies and make reasonable arrangements to support affected travelers, but it does not assume liability for death, personal injury, loss, or damage that results from inherent risks of travel, natural causes, weather, third-party acts, or events beyond our control. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Trip with Jack’s total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant booking. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by Trip with Jack’s proven gross negligence or willful misconduct, where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by law. Travelers must therefore have appropriate insurance in place.
Force majeure: Trip with Jack will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemic, government regulations, strikes, acts of terrorism, or road/transport closures. In such events we will use reasonable efforts to assist customers and arrange alternatives where possible.
You are responsible for your personal belongings. Trip with Jack is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items unless caused by our proven negligence. Keep valuables secure and insured.
Payment disputes, complaints, or claims should be reported to Trip with Jack as soon as possible and in any case within 7 days of the relevant incident. We will investigate and respond promptly. Any refunds due will be processed according to our refund procedures and timeline.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Leh, Ladakh (unless otherwise required by law). If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
